Chalet Solar is a beautiful 4 star chalet that comfortably sleeps 11 people located in Le Chinaillon area of Le Grand Bornand resort.
The kitchen is relatively big and opens onto the dining room. It is well equipped and even has a Nespresso machine. You have two lounge areas, one which would allow for a quiet read or rest and the other which is larger and has a flat screen television with DVD player. It is a large open plan dining room and living room with a chimney for those cosy winter evenings (logs are provided for free).
The chalet has 4-5 bedrooms: a double with a king sized bed and its own en suite (with shower room and a toilet) another double bedroom, and then two other bedrooms that each have two single beds. On the first floor there is one bathroom with a seperate toilet and on the ground floor there is a bath/shower room next to the laundry room with a toilet. There is a mezzanine in the roof with 3 beds which is ideal for children, also up there is a TV, DVD and Playstation for their own space.
On the ground floor there is a nice laundry room which also has a drying room just next to it. You will also have access to a garage.
The ski slopes are less than 200m away so easily accessible by foot. When the conditions are good you can ski to the door!
Access couldn't be easier with the free ski bus that stops 50 metres away from the chalet!
Extra services include full provision of linen, and a personnalized meet and greet.

Nous avons eu affaire à de vrais professionnels, réactifs et attentifs à ce que le séjour se déroule le mieux possible et ca été le cas ! Le chalet que nous avons loué était formidable. Je recommande viviement Aravis Holidays

Un léger détail relatif au ménage en cours de séjour: il est indiqué que ce ménage est effectué entre 10h et 12h alors qu’ils sont arrivés à 9h20. on a été un peu perturbé dans notre organisation et on aurait préféré être mieux organisé pour qu’ils puissent eux meme intervenir en toute tranquilité. En tout cas, des gens très agréables.

Très bonne réactivité de l’équipe en cas de question, c’est très bien. Par contre, côté nettoyage, on ne peut pas dire que ça a été fait jusque dans les coins.

The only adverse comment (from my sister In law) was the chalet was cold on arrival,on my arrival an hour latter it was lovely and warm, and David was still there helping sort out a small problem with the wi fi!

Nous tenions a vous remercier sincerement pour toute votre aide avec la location du chalet. Grace a vous, nous avons tous passe une petite semaine fantastique au Grand Bornand. Tres beau chalet, bon niveau d equipement, un appareil à raclette serait un plus et querlques notices explicatives pour faire fonctionner l appareillage electrique. Agence très réactive et très disponible pour régler les petits soucis.
